Privacy Policy

The short version: we never sell your data. Not your email, not your account, not your activity. Ever.

What we collect

• Account data: your email and, if you sign in with Google, the name on your Google profile. Authentication is handled by our third-party authentication provider; we never see your password.
• Your content: the binders, cards, cost bases, notes, and price alerts you create. Binders are private to you unless you create a share link.
• Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status — never your card number.
• Usage analytics: aggregate, anonymous page-view analytics (see the Cookie Notice). We don’t connect analytics to your account.

How we use it

• To run the service — your account, binders, alerts, and Pro access.
• To email you: price alerts you set yourself, a short series of onboarding emails after you sign up, and the newsletter if you joined it. Every non-essential email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
• To understand, in aggregate, which features get used so we can improve them.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make the site run, and only as needed to run it: our hosting, database, and authentication platforms, our payment processor (Stripe), our email-delivery provider, and a third-party analytics service. Some outbound marketplace buttons are affiliate links (TCGplayer, eBay) — we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, but no personal data of yours is shared with them by us. We never sell, rent, or trade your information.

Your privacy between users

Your binders and collection data are private by design — enforced at the database layer, not just the interface. No other user can see your collection unless you explicitly generate a share link, and a shared binder is only ever visible through that link’s dedicated page, which you can disable at any time.

Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from any email category instantly via the link in the email.
• Delete your account from your account page — this permanently removes your account, binders, and alerts.
• Ask us anything about your data at hello@chasingfoil.com.

Children

ChasingFoil accounts are for people 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes

If our practices change, this page changes first, with a new effective date. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
